Terms of use
Last updated: 12 October 2026
These terms are between you and Workaholic Developers, the maker of Chatlore. By using Chatlore you agree to them.
Using Chatlore
- Chatlore lets you keep, read, search and print chats that you export from your own chat app. Use it for chats you are part of, or that you have the right to keep.
- Respect the people in your chats. Ask before you share their messages, photos or a memory book with others.
- Don’t use Chatlore to break the law or anyone’s rights.
Your content
Your chats, photos and books are yours. They stay on your phone; we never receive them and claim no rights to them.
Backups
Chatlore keeps your data on your phone. Please save a backup file from Settings > Keep it safe now and then. We can’t recover chats from a lost or reset phone.
Other apps
Chatlore works with chats you export from WhatsApp. Chatlore is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to WhatsApp LLC or Meta. Export options and menu names belong to those apps and can change at any time.
No warranty
We work hard to read every chat correctly, but chat exports differ between phones, languages and app versions. Chatlore is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Workaholic Developers is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer laws of your country.
App stores
If you got Chatlore from the App Store, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. If you got it from Google Play, Google Play’s terms also apply.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. Questions: info@workaholicdevelopers.com.
